GnR sighting

She just got a new place in Wallingford. 1st floor, great view of the city. But she did move, in a Uhaul, on Solstice weekend in Seattle (oh, happy belated Solstice, folks!). And they couldn’t get her couch through the apartment door. Luckily, there’s a big sliding glass number off of her living room. The caveat? A six foot wood fence with no gate. Her two helpers stood on the outside, lifting the couch over. Miss Wakefield was in the yard trying to hold it off the dirt. In the middle of the balancing act, a guy walked by with a couple kids in tow.

“Helluva day to be driving that thing,” he nodded at the Uhaul blocking the sidewalk. “Need some help?”

She barely looked up, “Yes, please!”

He jumped right in. With a little maneuvering, they got it. Miss W looked at the helper. He looked familiar. She noticed a GnR tattoo on his arm.

“Hi, I’m Miss Wakefield. Thank you so much!”

“No problem. I’m Duff.”

“McKagan. Oh, I know who you are.”

He smiled, she thanked him again. They chatted about being from the area (or something equally non-rockstar) then he and the (his?) kids took off.

Duff McKagan helped move my friends’ couch in Wallingford. Sometimes Seattle is entertaining.
