There are a handful of things going on that I want to go off about, but only briefly.
Gas Tax Relief - Are you kidding me? This is the biggest damn joke Gee Dub has tried to pull in, well, months, at least. We all know that the oil/gas companies will take no financial hit on this, right? And we all know that they actually stand to make MORE money this Summer if the Gas Tax is repealed, right? Oh yeah. The measly savings we all will get are a pittance of what the big boys stand to make this year.
Democratic Race - For the sake of the history books, Hillary should NOT drop out. She’s the first real, viable female candidate we’ve ever seen and she needs to stick it out until the end because we need to set an example (never say die!) for the young ladies of the next generations. Barack will win anyway, but give Hil-dog a break. She’s making history, too!
Belltown Beating - You hear about the medical resident kid who got beat the hell up last week and is now at Harborview? That was just down the street from my place. Literally, like 2 blocks. Poor guy. And stupid assholes that started the fight. I already don’t go walking around here after the bars close, myself, but damn! I’ll get a police escort next time I think about it.
Local News - I just fuckin’ hate the local news. Not just here, but everywhere. I want to hear about what’s going on in the city I’m in, not see images from 6 different car accidents from around the state followed by a special report on what kind of glue you should be using for your various home projects. Ugh. That’s what the internet is for.
