…to say and do.
See, yesterday was the last day of my contract at MSN Music (more on that later). So, I’m off work for a bit and I’ve got all this TIME, and I barely know what to do with it. Not because I can’t think of anything, but because OHMIGAWD I can actually do what I want and where do I start? One of the top list items is to clean and decorate the apartment (yes, those are ONE list item — I like all-encompassing tasks). First order of business is to get out all the unneeded/unwanted crap that Luc’s accumulated in the years he’s been here. Luckily, he’s more than willing.
Among the piles of things to sort through, we know we need to get rid of some old CRT monitors. I wasn’t sure what to do, since I usually drop off my ‘puter parts with my dad. He’s recently cleaned up his workspace though, and I don’t think he needs any more junk. So, Luc found this Interconnection site where they give your computers to people who need them (schools, nonprofits, etc) (and a page explaining everything) — with a link to a free computer recycle coupon up top. How cool! We’re dropping them off tonight. If you need to get rid of stuff, they can pick it up, too.
I love that their #3 reason is “The Warm Fuzzy Factor.”
