another observation
Some people are getting here because I mentioned the Come With Me Kitty harness/leash combo dealy. In short: I love it. Most important, it’s easy to get on and off my cat. The leash is also really sproingy, which has a nice effect of seeming taut when it’s not — that makes Whisky on his own stop faster. He seems to feel the same way about it as with most all the other contraptions I’ve put on him: seeming indifference with a touch of interest and dislike — but no loathing! I am NOT fond of most colors they offer in his size, but that seems relatively small for how EASY it is to use (once I read the instructions through once — not my usual M.O.). If you need a cat leash, get it.
So we let one of our 1.5 year old indoor kittens out onto the porch the other day to enjoy some sunshine, with a neck-leash that she promptly was able to pull off herself. She’s never even tried to go outside before this, but it must have piqued her interest because last night she scampered out as we were letting one of the outside cats in. We spent a good 15 minutes chasing her around, coaxing her out from under the porch. This item sounds perfect for the little hellion!
This thing is great! Perfect for taking inside kitties outside. Whisky’s gotten out of every neck leash I’ve put on him, too, so I feel your pain.
