week in review

Why am I offering up what I did this week as a post? Two reasons: I only see a handful of friends so I want to catch everyone else up, and I think my week was a good snippet of my life.

Preface: I worked all week, getting up earlier and earlier each day. And I borrowed cars.

Background:
Someone is always home. Between the upstairs house and the downstairs apartment, people are always around. Makin beats, videos, songs, food, playin games, hustlin, eatin, drinkin, smokin, reading or just being.

Monday and Tuesday:
Sticky brown glasses and foam coated pitchers, skin absorbing caffiene and smiles making money. Repeat about 50 times.

Wednesday:
Expose floors, scrub and scrape away dirt, spackle, cover pinks and grays. Smoke. Sage, cream and white paint blind.

Thursday:
More covering and more tri-tone blindness, baggy pants, painted clothes. Change clothes, then go. Enter Retail-land: photographer, stylist, graphic designers, a VP and Her in new glasses. Thank god for Her.

Friday:
Earliest day yet, drive a lot. Stand in the cold rain, OK-ing set-ups and watching models pretend the rain is sunrays. Tell people they’re doing the job right (isn’t that why they got hired?). Drive more.
