With my heart half given to journalism, this story (and here’s another angle on the same event) has been in my mind. I already railed against the USA Patriot Act, and this is just another possible attack on our rights. Maybe the courts won’t blatently disregard the people, again.

One of my weird quirks: I’m struck by really random, inconsequential things. Like single sections of comic strips. Here (the first box) are two (the first and second box, minus the race ref) strips from one of the only comics I read. I heart Aaron McGruder.
